Jamal and Pepper

Inspired by the autobiographical children’s book, “Hockey is For Me” by former NHL player, Jamal Mayers. This series animates and genuinely showcases Jamal’s childhood experiences through the eyes of an imaginative young Jamal and his hyperactive hockey-loving stuffed husky, Pepper. Together, they celebrate wonder, and explore perseverance and self-confidence, especially when talking about uncomfortable situations.
